Le ferite di Roma

In Campitelli Square Mattia De Luca Gallery, for the second DLProjects event, opens its doors to 10 works by 10 different artists from different generations and unique in their approach to art. Each was invited to create a work on a blank sheet of paper, with the intention of stitching up a historical wound in the city. In particular, each artist was assigned a rupturing event in which Rome betrayed itself: these events are still part of the city's collective unconscious, hidden under frenzy and confusion. The selected artists are Elisabetta Benassi, Giulio Bensasson, Enzo Cucchi, Silvia Giambrone, Rä di Martino, Lulù Nuti, Luigi Ontani, Pietro Ruffo, Gabriele Silli and Marco Tirelli.

The exhibition accompanies the visitor in the rediscovery of these traumas, welcoming them with historical and biographical references, allowing anyone to understand the power of the Roman territory, even before experiencing the works of art.
