Stefanos Tsivopoulos

Born, 1973. Lives and works between Amsterdam and Athens.

Working with video and installation, Stefanos Tsivopoulos explores the relationship between reality and representation, truth and fiction, fact and interpretation. In his early work he focused on human behaviour within power structures and the themes of identity and social bonds. More recently he has been looking into history and narrative, memory archiving and the mediation of reality.
