We are pleased to announce that Silvia Giambrone has been invited by the Foundation Nicola Del Roscio, Rome, for an exhibition within the new programming related to ProjectRoom. The opening will be on September 15, 2022 at 6 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. there will be a reading in which Silvia will read five texts, selected for some relation to the works in the exhibition. Among these texts is Emanuel Carnevali's poem, Certain Things, from which the exhibition takes its title. Of course, the works in the exhibition (the video Single Act for Flies, a light box from the Collar series, and the work Cutlery), are linked by a red thread, which is that of the introjection of power relations that symbolically affects relationships and objects. What is of interest is to talk about what 'certain things', which emerge in filigree from the works in the exhibition, trigger in those who encounter them, as a kind of emotional resonance.
