Against a backdrop of domestic environment (wallpaper, skin of those walls that absorb the dynamics of family relationships) a fault breaks through, like an earthquake that reveals the depth of the rupture concealed by the wallpaper itself, like a warning: nothing is safe, the rupture is in place, the irreparable will happen sooner or later. What is the fault caused by? By relationships, by the unspoken, by emotionality, by the fragility of the walls themselves. It no longer matters. The present itself is compromised and cannot be concealed. The dynamics of the fracture anticipate the collapse, walls are not made to last forever, and sometimes it is imperceptible gestures, minimal palpitations of the intimate, that make them collapse, seeming almost to find in the wall itself the exact cartography to be made for the fault to happen, like a prophecy, like an elegy of the inevitable.
