From Wednesday May 21, 2025, the spaces of Prometeo Gallery will welcome the latest works of the artist Francesca Perrone (b. 2002, Treviso) exhibited for the first time in the solo show in raw skin I see you fade, curated by Sole Castelbarco Albani.

Through drawing, the mother tongue in the making of an interwoven universe of memories and connections, the exhibition stands as a territory of exploration of an inner space where the artist’s body - fragile, rational, Apollonian - confronts that of the other - powerful and Dionysian.

In a series of unseen paintings and ceramics, Perrone reveals the body as a place of tension and truth, never idealized, never final, eager to merge with the other but afraid of feeling overwhelmed by that very otherness.

It is precisely in this dichotomy between intimacy and rejection that irony is inserted as an act of resistance, a filter through which to pass pain without denying it. In in raw skin I see you fade, Perrone exposes fragility and desire, irony and trauma, sweetness and ambiguity within a space where different emotional elements manage to coexist in balance. In this instability - in this impossibility of separating what is beautiful from what hurts - lies the most authentic strength of her.
